What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Knowing I needed to complete my series, I had to really dig deep to come up with this story. The first two I’d planned years ago, but this one came completely from scratch. I still feel it’s the best book I’ve ever written.
How is writing SciFi different from other genres?
Despite the science fiction or space element, it’s really not that different.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Byron and Athee were established, but I had to create their son, Bassan. Another side character, Piten, quickly evolved into a more prominent force and he was a lot of fun.
