How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
Toby is from a different world, a world from the future. Some adults have suggested the philosophical concepts in my book might be too difficult for children, but so far the children who have read my book have loved it!
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Write, write, write! Find a good writing group of people who will critique your work honestly and help bring out the best.
There’s magic all around us, if we just know where to look. Angela Castillo has a goal as an author; to help people see. She comes from the small town of Bastrop Texas, where she loves to walk in the woods and shop in the local stores. Castillo studied Practical Theology and Music at Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas. She was home-schooled all through high school and is the oldest of 7 kids. Castillo’s greatest joys are her little girl and two boys, who ‘are the best inspiration for writing ideas.’ Castillo has been published in The First Line, Aardvark’s Ark, Heartwarmers, Thema, and several other publications, and also has works available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle format. What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Many children and adults struggle with self-image and the concept of love. I wanted to write a book about God’s love for us in a simple way that would also be exciting and fun at the same time. I also wanted to write a family book that children and adults could read and enjoy together.
