What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
These short stories were voted the best by my writing critique groups in my work from last year. For me, writing is nothing unless it is read, so I was very happy to publish them for free and share them to inspire and entertain anyone who cares to read them.
How is writing Science Fiction different from other genres?
I believe that science fiction is a super-genre; it encompasses anything that can be done in other genres but also has the capability of enhancing and focusing the story with its unique freedom of releasing the power of pure imagination, unbounded.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
My characters have specific reasons for being in my stories. Their personalities and goals are critical to showing what I want tell. They are well thought out at the start of my stories development and are drawn from myself, the people I have known over the years and characters from other fiction.

Luckily, I didn't have the luxury of extended vocabulary in thought responses so I could hide my lack of descriptive skills. I needed to concentrate on my function now; a flexible tool to guide the probe in this unknown environment. The entanglement mechanism was better than any artificial intelligence or holographic solution we had ever produced. I felt the precise control of the extendible collectors as I tested out my systems.
About the Author:
I was a passionate reader of science-fiction from an early age. I grew up in the 1970's, an inspirational time for scientific endeavour. Being mathematical by nature, I had an appetite for computing and completed a degree in the 80's, going on later to receive an Masters degree in artificial intelligence. I spent a lot of time on my career in software, but in the last four years I have turned to writing creative fiction. Being very practical, I run two writers critique groups which provide invaluable insight into the craft and help me with my efforts. My first book 'Alice in Virtuality' was published 2012 and 'Points of Possibility' followed in 2016. I write continuously.
