It’s the end of the world, and evil zombies have taken over! Try convincing Malchus of that when he can understand and communicate with them…
The whole world is thrown into chaos as zombies take over and survivors are left to fend for themselves. All they know is that zombies bite and make more zombies. To them, it’s shoot to kill and survive.
Not so to Malchus, who has a unique ability to communicate with zombies. They speak, he listens! He attempts to share this knowledge with his fellow survivors only to be shunned by them. Malchus may have bitten off more than he can chew. At least, that is how he feels when he tries to unite zombies and survivors in harmony.
Follow Malchus on his journey as he teams up with some rather unique friends and they embark on his mission. Will he succeed, or will he die trying?
The Journey of Malchus: The Zombie Whisperer Chronicles is a different take on the world of zombies and survivors. It’s a post-apocalyptic world being compared to Dark Tower and World War Z.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I was inspired by The Walking Dead TV series and the Dying Light video game. However, I wanted to have a bit of a twist to my story. So I thought…why not have a guy who can talk to zombies? The story bloomed from there.
How is writing Science Fiction different from other genres?
I can't answer that for other authors but for myself I find that Sci-Fi is less restrictive. The sky is not the limit. In fact I have all of space at my disposal and that allows my imagination to soar!
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I based them off of TV series and Video games that had to do with Zombies or of similar Dystopian nature. Malchus is your kind-hearted soul who wants everyone to get along. Mindy is your good ole woman who winds up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Lilly is your volatile firecracker just waiting to explode. Lilly happens to be everyone's favorite.
“I'm sorry I hurt you, but you attacked me,” Malchus stated bluntly then asked, “Are you a lifer or a duster?” “I don't know this word duster, but I sure as hell ain't no lifer. Nope, would not be with them. They are evil,” she cackled wickedly. “Then, are you a zombie?” He had never heard a zombie speak so plainly. Most of them spoke in a gibberish that he seemed to be able to understand instantly and be able to speak back, though he often chose not to. “I am what I am. You are what you are. We do what we do. Having fun so far?” She laughed. “You are a strange child, indeed.” Malchus' curiosity was getting the best of him. This girl was very different from anyone he'd encountered thus far. Could she be like him?
