They came to Earth to teach us their science. Then they invited us to their home planet. We accepted.
Alex and his crew depart for a pioneering mission through the galaxy. But the journey is long and dangerous, and humans are not made for space.
White Dwarf One will take you on board a bare-bones spaceship, where the vessel’s claustrophobic reality will be disturbed by something no one had foreseen: friends turning to foes. To survive, the crew will have to make decisions that will affect the outcome of the mission as much as the future of humanity.
Targeted Age Group:: 15-70
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I’ve always been fascinated by first contact themes, and what meeting an intelligent alien species would mean for mankind. White Dwarf One builds upon these concepts, going as far as speculating about different civilizations getting to know each other – for better or for worse.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Alex, the protagonist of this story, is no superhero, and like everyone else taking part in the journey, he will have to come to terms with his own fears, expectations, and dreams. I’ve enjoyed building the characters in this story because in each of them there is a small part of me. Speculating about their action and reactions to the events has been a very interesting task.
